Day 01 : Arrival - Yangon Sightseeing Tours

Yangon in MyanmarArrive Yangon international airport, welcome by tour guide. Transfer to the hotel for check in. Visit Chauk Htatt Kyi (the six storied in meaning but actually the huge reclining Buddha Image, Sule (the eight sided stupa located at the center of Yangon, the Independent Monument. And study the ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern costume) and Shwedagon Pagoda, famous worldwide - its golden stupa is the ‘ Heart ’ of Buddhism Myanmar. The Pagoda is believed to be 2,500 years old and the central stupa in surrounded by dozens of intricately decorated buildings and statues.

Day 02: Yangon - Flight to Mandalay - Mandalay Sightseeing Tour to Amarapura - Ava - Mandalay (B, L)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Yangon International airport for flight to Mandalay. Mandalay, the commercial centre and cultural tourism site, was established in 1857 by King Mindon, Arrive at Tada Oo International airport and direct sightseeing to the ancient city of Amarapura. Visit to Mahagundayone Monastery to study the daily life of the monks observing Buddha scriptures, U Bein Wooden Bridge (1.2km long) across Taung Tha Man Lake. Proceed to Ava (Inwa). Sightseeing inclusive of Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery, the hand-made workshop industry producing lacquer alms for Monk. And then drive to Sagaing and visit Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda which is the copy of Mahaceti Pagoda in Siri Lanka and Sagaing HillsSagaing Hill the center of Meditation. Then drive to Mandalay and check in at the hotel.

Day 03: Mandalay to Mingun by Boat - Mandalay Sightseeing Tours (B, L)

After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the jetty to take a boat trip to Mingun. Visit Mingun Unfinished Pagoda, Mingun Bell, one of the world largest hanging bronze bells and Myatheindan Pagoda. After sightseeing in Mingun, sail back to Mandalay. Afternoon, visit Mahamuni Buddha Image, Zegyo Market and some of Mandalay’s cottage industries, such as weaving and tapestry making, Burmese candy making, Bamboo fan making near Eindaw Yar Pagoda, Atumahsi Monastery and Shwenandaw Monastery (Golden Palace Monastery), Kuthodaw (Maha Lawkamarazein Pagoda) which is famous as the world largest book of many stone slabs on which is inscribed the whole Buddhist Literature.. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from Mandalay Hill.

Day 04: Mandalay Travel Package to Sagaing - Monywa (B, L)

After early breakfast at the hotel, drive to Monywa. On the way, a visit to Sagaing Hills (21km south-east of Mandalay) and western bank of the Ayeyarwaddy river, Kaung Mu Daw Pagoda which is the copy of Mahaceti Pagoda in Siri Lanka. Tour continues to Monywa located in the Valley of Chindwin River and a pleasant destination for the visitors. Sightseeing inclusive of Thanbode where a half million of Buddha images exits. Bode Tahtaung where a thousand of Bo trees or Banyan Bo trees or Banyan Trees - Myanamartrees and a 300 foot long reclining Buddha image would be visited. In the afternoon, cross Chindwin River and drive to Hpo Win Taung and Shwe Ba Taung by pick-up jeep or Hilux. Return back to Monywa.

Day 05: Monywa - Pakokku - Cruising Tour to Bagan (B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Pakokku - A trading centre for the Chindwin and Yaw river valleys, the town deals in timber and palm sugar and is the head of downstream Chindwin navigation. It has an airfield and a diesel-electric plant - famous for cotton blanket. Visit local market, weaving industry, peanut snacks making cottage. And then transfer to the jetty cruise by charter private to Bagan situated in Central Myanmar, on the east bank of the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River. Arrive at Bagan in the evening.

Day 06: Bagan Sightseeing Tours (B, L)

Option: Balloon Over Bagan (BOB)
It is a unique opportunity to see the Bagan with ‘BALLOONS OVER BAGAN’. You get a magnificent birds-eye view of thousand year-old pagodas, temples and the mighty Ayeyarwaddy River as it has never been seen before. Lastly watch sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy River from Buphaya or Shwesandaw Pagoda.

Day 07: Bagan Culture Tours (B, L)

After breakfast, visit tropical village to visit an old Noodle Cottage and observe the daily life the people in Taung Bi Village. Then visit Bupaya Pagoda, on the bank of majestic Ayeyarwady River and visit the Mahabodhi Temple, resemble of Mahabodi Temple in Bodaghaya. In the afternoon, continue visiting Abeyadana Temple, with very interesting paintings, showing a Mahayana influence; the Nagayon Temple, an elegant and well-preserved temple, built by King Kyanzittha; the Ashe & Anauk Pagoda, with hundreds of unglazed terracotta tiles illustrating scenes from the jatakas and Lowkananda Pagoda, built in 1059 by King Anawrahta.

Day 08: Bagan - Flight to Heho - Pindaya (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for flight to Heho. Arrive at Heho Airport, drive to Pindaya (65 km). Sightseeing inclusive of Pindaya Cave - a Buddhist pilgrimage site and a tourist attraction located on a limestone ridge in the Myelat region. There are three caves on the ridge which runs north-south, but only the southern cave can be entered and explored. It is not known whether the other two penetrate for any extended distance into the hillside - with thousands of Buddha Images placed there by pilgrims over many centuries and Umbrella workshop which is made from pulp. Even stroll underneath the old Banyan trees which are said over 200 years. Take fresh breath and photos.

Day 09: Pindaya - Inle Lake Sightseeing Tours (B, L)

After breakfast, have sightseeing by foot around the Botaloke Lake and local market. Drive to Nyaung Shwe and transfer to hotel by boat to Inle Lake. Being located at the 900 meters above sea level, Inle Lake is the second largest natural lake in Myanmar with hazy blue mountains as backdrop. Afternoon, visit Indein Village, located at the western side of the lake. Passing Nyaung Ohak Monastery and follow a stair path lined up with many hundreds o wooden columns, you finally will reach the impressive Shwe Indein Pagoda Complex. From the hillside you have great view over the lake area. On the way back to the boat, walk through a romantic bamboo forest at the riverside, where you may observe local people having a bath. Afternoon continue sightseeing on the lake.

Day 10: Inle Lake Cruising Tours (B, L)

In the early morning, breakfast at hotel and visit Phaungdaw Oo Pagoda, the most famous pagoda of the Shan State. Ywa-Ma village, gold and sliver smiths’ workshop. After lunch, visit Jumping Cat Monastery and floating gardens, local methods of fishing, village life and the famous leg rowers. In the evening, enjoy the sunset while visiting the Inle Lake by boat.

Day 11: Inle Lake - Heho - Yangon (B, L)

After breakfast, transfer to the Heho Airport for flight back to Yangon. On the way to the hotel, visit Kabar Aye (the World Peace pagoda) and Maha Pasana (the great cave for Buddhist synod) and check in at the hotel. After lunch shopping at Bogyoke Market (Scott’s Market) of hundreds of shops where you can find local products such as Gems & Jewelry, slippers, cloth, and so on. Evening stroll along the China Town and study the ways of living of Yangon citizens (which can observe the tradition and modern costume).

Day 12: Yangon departure (B)

Day 02: Yangon City Tour ( B, L)

Yangon, formerly known as Rangoon, is still a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes Yangon one of the most fascinating and authentic capitals of South-East Asia. Visit Shwe Taw Myat Zedi (Buddha's Replica Tooth Relic Pagoda), Kaba Aye Pagoda (World Peace Pagoda) built for memorial of the 1954-56 sixth Buddhist Synod, is located on Kaba Aye Pagoda Road, Mayangon Township. And then proceed to Mahapasana Guha : "Great Cave", built close to the Kaba Aye Pagoda, a replica of the Satta Panni cave, located in India, where the first Buddhist Synod was convened. The six entrances of The Maha Pasana Cave symbolize the Sixth Great Synod. Lunch at restaurant. 230 ft (70 m) long in the pose of rest, the original image was built in 1907 and Shwedagon Pagoda: world famous glistening gold stupa towering over the city with spearing to height of 326 fees.

Day 03 : Yangon Sightseeing Tours – Fly to Bagan ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Yangon Airport for domestic flight to Bagan. Upon arrival in Bagan, transfer to hotel and proceed on a sightseeing tour, starting with the busy local market and continuing with visits to a diverse selection of theAnanda Temple in Bagan - Myanmar most important pagodas and temples such as Shwezigon Pagoda, built by King Anawrahta in the early 11th century. See 13th Century frescoes adorning the corridors of Kyansittha 'Cave' Temple. Continue to Gubyaukgyi (Wetkyi In village), another 'cave' temple with fine frescoes of the 'Jataka Tales'. Next stop is Htilominlo Pagoda, the last Bamar style temple built in Bagan, with old murals and friezes. Visit the Taungphi village to see old monasteries, which have beautiful Khone Baung dynasty frescoes. Lunch at Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit continue to Annada Temple, a whitewashed masterpiece of Mon architecture with four standing Buddhas, and the adjacent brick monastery from the early Bagan era with well-preserved murals. Make a photo stop at the tallest temple measuring 61 meters - Thatbinnyu Temple known as 'temple of omniscience' and dating from 1144. Continue to Mingalazedi Pagoda, the last of the large Pagodas built in the 13th Century, representing the pinnacle of Bamar pagoda architecture. Enjoy sunset at one of the monuments along Ayeyarwady River.

Day 04 : Bagan Sightseeing Tours ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we have time to explore the Myinkaba village area either by bicycle or by horse cart. First we visit Gubyaukgyi Temple admiring the fine stuccowork. We continue to Nanbaya Temple, built in the Mon style with intricate stone carvings, and said once to have been Manuha's residence. See the four Buddha images in Manuha Gubyaukgi Temple in Bagan - MyanmarPagoda and later stop at Myazedi stupa to see Myanmar's "Rosetta Stone", bearing inscriptions written in four languages. Lunch at the Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit to Lacquer ware factory to watch craftsmen skill fully making this most famous of Bagan handicrafts. After that visit to Abeyadana Temple with frescoes representing Bodhisattvas and the gods of Indian mythology. Continue to Damayangyi Temple, a massive-looking temple dating from 1170 that is famous for its interlocking mortar less brickwork. Next, visit Sulamani Pagoda, one of Bagan's great two-storied Bamar style temples, which has 4-seated Buddha images. Observe a sunset in the vicinity of Bagan's ancient monuments.

Day 05 : Bagan Culture Tours – Fly to Mandalay ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Bagan Airport for a flight to Mandalay. Morning visit gold-leaf making; the venerable Mahamuni Pagoda, Myanmar traditional handicraft workshops, marble works, wood carvings and continue to Mahagandayon Monastery (Buddhistic University) one of the largest teaching monasteries in Myanmar. It is usually one of the destinations of tour itineraries to Mandalay. If you are travelling independently, just ask your driver to take you to the monastery. In the Buddhist Lent Festival, thousands of monks converge on this monastery, contributing to the religious atmosphere of Amarapura and silk & cotton weaving workshops. Enjoy lunch at restaurant. Afternoon sightseeing Shwenandaw Monastery  (Golden Palace), noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the word'sKyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda in Mandalay - Myanmar biggest book for its stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures, Kyauktawgyi Pagoda; a large Buddha image carved out of single block of marble and Mandalay Hill, a vantage point for panoramic view of the city. Come back to hotel and leisure.

Day 06 : Mandalay Sightseeing Tours to Amarapura - Sagaing ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Amarapura, an ancient capital of Myanmar, where we can observe the life of over 1000 monks at Mahagandayon. Visit Bagaya Kyaung and famous U Bein's teak bridge. After that, drive to Sagaing, cross the Inwa Bridge, you see the hilltops, each crested with a pagoda, the banners proclaiming the Buddha's teaching, the refuge from all ills and tribulations where over 600 monasteries for monks and nuns are located for Buddhist studies and meditation. Visit to Sagaing Hill, Padamyazedi, U min Thonze or thirty caves pagoda has many Buddha images in a crescent shaped colonnade. Mural paintings can be seen in the Tilawkaguru cave temple, which was built around 1672. Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin Pagoda nearby was constructed in 1312. The view of Sagaing from Soon Oo Pon Nya Shin and its approach is marvelous. After that drive back to Mandalay, one the way, visit to Ava; an ancient city of Burma King in 1783.

Day 07 : Mandalay – Fly to Heho – Kalaw ( B, L)

Kalaw in MyanmarBreakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Mandalay Airport for a flight to Heho. Upon arrival in Heho, transfer to Kalaw (50 km – 1½ hours), an interesting drive up into the hills and across the Shan Plateau, through fields of mountain rice. Kalaw, which was formerly a British Hill Station. Enjoy walking through Kalaw, visiting the local market, the tiny train station and perhaps walking up the hill to see the old catholic church (if open). Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, take a walk through the hills and start walking to Myin Ma Hti village 31/2 hours. The ethnic groups are Danu, first walk through the pine forest and after 1 hour walking you will see potatoes, mountain rice and huge vegetables plantation field. They all worked with ox and buffalo, no machine no tractor. Unbelievable to see people working a huge field with man power and animal. Enjoy the nature beauty, on the way you'll see little boys and girls helping their parents. The Myin Ma Hti's villager are farmers 100% earn their living on agriculture. Myin Ma Hti known for his lime cave 200meters long. Return to your hotel.

Day 08 : Kalaw – Inle Lake Sightseeing Tours ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning scenic drive (64 km – 2 hours) across the Shan Plateau to Nyaungshwe where we board our own boat to go to our hotel in Inle Lake. (OR) Then drive to Nyaung Shwe - the tourist hub for visiting Inle Lake. It consists of one main thoroughfare with numerous side streets and a few parallel roads. The main street has numerous shops, several restaurants, a few stupas, travel agencies and a market (located behind the storefronts). Near the end of this road, a bridge crosses the river channel near an impressive mirror-tiled stupa and then check in at hotel. Lunch at Restaurant. In the afternoon, we enjoy another boat tour to Indaing, at the western end of the Lake. The boat takes you Inle Lake in Shan Statethrough a long channel where you watch the farmers cultivate their produce. This ride is one of the most scenic boat tours on Lake Inle. The beauty of sunset over Inle Lake enchants all visitors.

Day 09 : Inle Lake Boat Trip ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, explore one of the 5-day markets (on market day only). By visiting 5-day markets, clients will get insight into the life-style of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu and Intha inhabitants who came to these markets to sell their goods. Enjoy boat trip on Inle Lake – a photographer's dream, its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes, to which scenic high hills provide the perfect backdrop. See the lake's unique "leg rowers" – the Intha people row standing up with one leg wrapped around an oar. Lunch at local Restaurant, located in the middle of lake. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State. See traditional handicrafts - silk weaving on wooden handlooms and a blacksmith shop. Pass endless floating gardens, where fruit and vegetables are grown. Continue by boat to visit Nga Phe Kyaung Monastery, one of the oldest monasteries on the lake. One can see ancient Buddha statues which are more than 200 years old.

Day 10 : Inle Lake Cruising Tours – Heho fly back to Yangon ( B, L)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer by boat to Nyaung Shwe and then proceed to Heho Airport. Return domestic flight to Bogyoke Aung San Market in Yangon - MyanmarYangon and transfer to hotel. Lunch at Restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Bogyoke Market (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays) gives you the opportunity to see Myanmar's wide range of handicrafts. Walk along Yangon River to see the busy harbor area, from where ferries leave for Pathein in the Delta and for upcountry towns along the Ayeyarwady River.

Day 1: Myanmar Package Tours: Arrive - Yangon Sightseeing Tours

Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your guide and transfer to the hotel.
Coming to Yangon, a relatively quiet and charming city. Its impressive colonial and spiritual heritage makes it one of the most fascinating cities in Southeast Asia.
This afternoon, we will visit around the city and its highlights. Stop at the National Museum where a tour of the priceless ancient artifacts, works of art and historic memorabilia will help you gain insight in to the country’s history.  Of particular note are the three halls on the ground floor, which hold exhibits on the evolution the Myanmar alphabet, the Lion Throne Room, and artifacts from the Yatanabon Period.  Continue to Kyaukhtatgyi Pagoda, which houses a 70-meter reclining Buddha.
Late this afternoon, visit Shwedagon Pagoda, the most revered Buddhist temple in Myanmar.  The central stupa is 90 meters tall and gilded with gold leaf.  As the sun begins to set enjoy the breathtaking views of the Pagoda and surrounding skyline before transferring back to your hotel.

Optional Visit: The Thiripyitsaya Sky Bistro is perched on the 20th floor of Sakura Tower, overlooking panoramic views of metropolis. From here, one can get the scenic view of Yangon River and the environs. It is fascinating place to visit; one can share the freshness of unforgettable days in Myanmar with their family and friends at home.

Day 2: Myanmar Package Tours: Yangon - Flight to Bagan  – Bagan Sightseeing Tours (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for the flight to Bagan (Nyaung Oo).
Bagan was the capital of Myanmar from the 11th to 13th centuries, the rulers constructed thousands of huge stupas and temples many of which are still standing today on the banks of the Irrawaddy River.
On arrival, your journey begins with a visit to Tayokye Pyay, an elevated temple from where you will have a panoramic view of the magnificent plains of Bagan. Continue to the colorful Nyaung Oo Market where every day the locals come to buy and sell fresh produce and other goods before visiting the golden stupa of Shwezigon Pagoda for an introduction in to Bagan’s rich history. Then, visit to nearby Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite jataka mural paintings and the elegant Htilominlo Temple noted for its fine plaster carvings and glazed sandstone decorations.
This afternoon begin with a visit to a traditional lacquer ware workshop where you can observe the production of one of Myanmar’s best-known handicrafts. Continue to Ananda Temple, an architectural masterpiece and one of Bagan’s most beautiful temples.  Built in the early Mon-style, Ananda contains two unique Buddha images whose expressions seem to change depending on the distance from which the statue is viewed.
From here, travel by horse cart for a tour passing Thatbyinnyu, the highest temple in Bagan, massive Dhammayangyi Temple, noted for its remarkable brickwork, and Sulamani Temple.
Enjoy an unforgettable sunset over the plains from the upper terrace of one of the temples.

Day 3: Myanmar Package Tour: Bagan Sightseeing Tours (B)

OPTION: Start your morning with a hot-air balloon flight over the plains of Bagan.   Enjoy the fabulous views as the sun rises over the stupas and Irrawaddy River.  This is truly an unforgettable and unique experience! (Note: available only from October to March)
After breakfast, visit the colorful Nyaung Oo Market where villagers gather every day to buy and sell their produce and other goods.  Continue to Myinkaba village and take a short walking tour to explore the temples of Manuha and Nan Paya.
This afternoon, continue to the rural village of Minnanthu, one of Bagan’s least visited areas.  Here you will explore temples such as Payathonzu, Lemyentha and Nandamannya before heading to the riverside pier.  Board a local boat for a slow cruise down the Irrawaddy River.  As you cruise the waters, observe the lifestyle of the fishermen and riverside villagers as well as enjoying the unique perspective of Bagan’s temples.
Return to your hotel this evening.

OPTION: Enjoy a sunset cruise on the Irrawaddy River to watch the sun set over the planes.  A cocktail will be served on a sandbank in the middle of the River- a magical way to end the day

Day 4: Myanmar Package Tours: Bagan Travel Packages – Flight to Mandalay - Mandalay Sightseeing Tours (B)

Early this morning transfer to the airport for the flight to Mandalay. 
Mandalay is an abrupt hill, rising above a vast moated and walled square. It once contained the sprawling royal city but apart from reconstructed Mandalay Palace at the very centre, this is now a sparse, mostly out-of-bounds area of military encampments. Today the city's centre sprawls for miles, the commercial heart lying south and west of the fort. Quieter monastic districts are further west towards the Ayeyarwady River.

Upon arrival, begin your sightseeing tour of Mandalay with a visit to Mahamuni Pagoda.  This pagoda is home to one of the country’s most revered Buddha images which, over the years, has been covered with gold leaf giving it an almost ‘lumpy’ texture. Mandalay is well known for its skilled craftsmen and as you tour traditional workshops, you will learn more about the city’s cottage industries. Observe the production of wood carvings, kalaga tapestries, and gold-leaf where the techniques remain unchanged from those used centuries ago to craft items for the Royal Court.
This afternoon, continue your tour of Mandalay with a visit to Kuthodaw Pagoda, whose 729 marble stone slabs of Buddhist scriptures have earned it the title ‘World’s Biggest Book’.  Continue to Shwenandaw Monastery, the only remaining building from the 19th century Royal Palace.  This grand teak building is known for its exquisite woodcarving.
Head to the top of Mandalay Hill as the sun begins to set to enjoy magnificent views of the the city and Irrawaddy River.

Day 5: Myanmar Package Tours: Mandalay Package Tours – Amarapura – Ava –Sagaing – Mandalay Travel Packages (B)

After breakfast at the hotel, depart for an excursion around Mandalay to explore  the former capitals of Amarapura, Ava and Sagaing.
Begin your tour in Amarapura, where you will attend a special ceremony.  Witness the alms collection at Mahagandayon monastery, when over one-thousand monks gather to collect their daily meal from the local Buddhists.  After this beautiful spectacle, continue to U Bein Bridge for a walk along this 200 year-old teak bridge.  The bridge spans over 2 kilometers in length and offers fabulous views of the surrounding farms and streams.  Before leaving Amarapura, stop at a silk weaving workshop which produces exquisite handmade products.
Continue to Ava, the capital from 14th to 18th centuries and travel by horse and carriage through the area stopping to visit the old wooden Bagaya Monastery and the remains of the Royal Palace and Fort.
This afternoon, cross a bridge over the Irrawaddy River to Sagaing. Covered with 600 white-painted pagodas and monasteries, Sagaing Hill is widely regarded as the religious center of Myanmar.  It is home to 3,000 monks and 100 meditation centers and you will visit pagodas such as Swan Oo Pon Nya Shin, U Min Thone Sae, and Shin Pin Nan Gyaing.

Day 6: Myanmar Package Tours: Mandalay – Flight to Heho – Inle Lake Sightseeing Tours with a Boat Trip (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Mandalay Airport for a flight to Heho.
From Heho, a scenic one-hour drive leads to Nyaung Shwe, the gateway village to Inle Lake. Along the way, stop at the wooden Shwe Yan Pyay Monastery which features beautiful carvings and a collection of Buddha images.
Upon reaching the edges of Inle Lake, board a private motorboat to head out to Inle Lake, one of Myanmar’s most spectacular sights. Pass villages built on stilts over the lake, inhabited by the local Intha people.  Observe the leg-rowing fishermen and see their floating gardens built up from strips of water hyacinth and mud and anchored to the bottom with bamboo poles. Visit Nga Hpe Chaung Monastery, which houses dozens of Shan Buddha Images, but is more famous for its unique ‘jumping cats’ who jump through hoops in the air!  Continue to Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the lake’s main sanctuary, which contains five sacred Buddha images covered in gold leaf.
Explore the local crafts of Inle Lake with a stop at the weaving village of Inpawkhone and a cheroot factory, where the typical Burmese cigars are made by hand.
If time permits, there may be time to enjoy a short walk through one of the lakeside villages.

Day 7: Myanmar Package Tours: Inle Lake Cruising Trips to Floating Markets - Indein - Flight from Heho to Yangon (B)

After breakfast, visit the lake’s morning market. The market rotates its location around the lake’s villages in a 5 day rhythm and is visited by lake inhabitants and surrounding hill tribes who come to sell and trade their wares. (Note: market is daily except on dark moon day and full moon day).
From the middle of the lake, continue down a small canal leading to the Pa-oh village of In Dein.  Explore the area on foot, strolling around the village, visiting a local school, and wander through the beautiful Alaung Sitthou area.  Alaung Sitthou is filled with picturesque ancient stupas and has magnificent views of the lake below.
